The Canadian Army accepts recruits from the age of 16 with parental consent, but does not allow anyone over the age of 55 to join. So, if you are between the ages of 16 and 55 and are interested in joining the Canadian Army, you will need to meet the physical and mental requirements for entrance.<\/p>\n

There is no age limit to joining the Canadian Army, as long as you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.<\/p>\n

Can you join the Canadian military at any age? <\/h2>\n

In order to join the Canadian Armed Forces, you must be at least 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent). However, there are some exceptions to this rule. For the Paid Education programs, you may be 16 years old (with parental consent). For the Primary Reserves, you may be 16 years old (with parental consent) and must be enrolled as a full-time student.<\/p>\n

It is possible to join the Canadian Armed Forces at age 52, although it is more difficult to be accepted into the Regular Force at this age. However, it is possible to join the Reserves.<\/p>\n
