Nepal is a landlocked country in southern Asia, bordered by China and India. French Army has a long history of presence in the region and currently maintain a garrison of over 5,000 troops in Nepal. The Army is looking for recruits from Nepal to join their ranks and serve in the French Foreign Legion. Here is how you can apply to become a member of the French Army from Nepal.<\/p>\n

To apply for the French Army from Nepal, you will need to have a French passport and meet the requirements for becoming a French citizen. You will also need to be at least 18 years old and have completed your high school education. Once you have met these requirements, you can apply online or in person at a French consulate.<\/p>\n

How can I join the French Army? <\/h2>\n

In order to join the Legion, you must be a man aged between 17 and 39 years old. You must also have a passport (or if you are from within the EU, an ID card) and a birth certificate. You cannot be wanted by Interpol and you must be physically fit enough to serve at all times and in all places worldwide for at least five years.<\/p>\n

Nepal has a long history of sending its citizens to serve in the French Foreign Legion. According to Mohan Krishna Shrestha, a former ambassador to France, there are currently between 300 and 350 Nepalis serving in the Legion.<\/p>\n
