The Ukraine army is a branch of the Ukrainian armed forces that was created in 1992 following the breakup of the Soviet Union. The army is currently composed of around 100,000 soldiers and 3,500 officers.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian Ground Forces are the land warfare branch of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As of 2022, the Ground Forces had an estimated strength of 198,000 personnel. The Ground Forces are headquartered in Kyiv, Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Ukraine’s Army counted approximately 500 thousand military personnel as of 2023. Of them, 200 thousand were active military staff. Furthermore, 250 thousand soldiers were part of the country’s reserve forces.<\/p>\n
