In the Ukraine, the Army is the second-largest branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is currently composed of six military regions, or oblasts, and operates more than 200,000 Ukrainian soldiers and over 3,000 tanks. The Army is responsible for ensuring the territorial integrity of the country and has been actively involved in several conflicts, most notably the War in Donbass. The Army is professional and well-trained, and is considered one of the most effective fighting forces in the region.<\/p>\n
