The United States Army is the main branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for land-based military operations. It is the largest and oldest established branch of the U.S. military, and is one of seven U.S. uniformed services.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Army is a professional organization and therefore does not take sides.<\/p>\n

What side does US Army go on uniform? <\/h2>\n

Identification badges are to be worn centered between the first and second button on Page 2 of the uniform regulations. On the female blue uniform, a single branch insignia is to be worn on the left lapel only, 1″ below the notch. It should be aligned parallel to the inside edge of the lapel. A single “US” is to be worn on the right lapel, aligned as the branch insignia.<\/p>\n

The military salutes in a variety of situations, including during military funerals. If you are not in the military, you can show respect by placing your right hand over your heart when the soldiers salute. You can cue off the soldiers to know when to do this.<\/p>\n

Where does the US Army patch go on the uniform <\/h3>\n
